Nothing beats the feeling of a healthy bronzed glow. Nevertheless, it's essential to protect our skin from the harmful effects of ultraviolet (UV) rays. Sunscreen is an indispensable part of our sun-protection routine, but not all sunscreen products are created equal. Some contain ingredients that can potentially pose risks to our health and the environment. In this blog post, we will shed light on sunscreen ingredients to avoid and provide safer alternatives for protecting your precious skin.

Oxybenzone

Oxybenzone is a widely used ingredient in many sunscreens due to its UV-absorbing properties. However, concerns have been raised regarding its impact on hormone disruption, allergies, and potential coral reef bleaching. Studies suggest oxybenzone can penetrate the skin and mimic or interfere with hormones. Fragrance
