It's officially fall, which means it's pumpkin season! You may have already had more than your share of pumpkin spice lattes. Or maybe you're holding back until you see the leaves start to change. There's no denying anything pumpkin is irresistible. While pumpkin spice waffles are tempting, there's healthier ways you can fully indulge in the season. The fall harvest brings us ingredients that are packed with antioxidants and vitamins. When applied topically, pumpkin can defend your skin from signs of aging and deeply nourish while gently exfoliating for a brighter and smooth complexion. 

Here's what you'll need: 

  • 1/2 cup of Pumpkin (either fresh or a can of pureed)
  • 1 egg 
  • 1 tsp Organic Honey
  • A few drops of apple cider vinegar or lemon 

Here’s what to do: 

  • Whisk together the whole egg with 1/4 cup of pumpkin. 
  • Add in honey and vinegar or lemon. 
  • Smooth over face and lay back for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse and enjoy your smooth, firm, even autumn complexion. 

The yolk delivers nourishment while the egg tightens sagging skin. Honey is going to seal in moisture and help prevent breakouts. The apple cider vinegar or lemon juice works as an astringent to remove excess oil and dead skin cells.
