Both levels are buildable. If your skin tone is on the fair side, the Light to Medium is a good place to start. If your skin tone is more olive or golden, you may prefer the Medium Dark. Nevertheless, it really comes down to your comfort level with self-tanners. If you want to look like you just got back from the tropics, the Medium to Dark is your go-to. If you’re a self-tanning newbie, stick with the Light to Medium option. Whichever level you choose, you can always apply more to deepen the tan you’re getting.
Totally! We recommend 1/2 a pump for face. Don’t forget to blend into your neck and chest as well. A gentle makeup remover shouldn’t take off your tan. However, exfoliants and any type of astringent can wipe off the tan with the surface layer of skin. So you may just need to reapply on your face more frequently.
All of our formulas are non-comedogenic. That means that none of our products will clog pores or cause breakouts. If you have sensitive skin, we always recommend doing a patch test first.
Our quick-dry formula will absorb before it has a chance at to stain your linens. Just wait a few minutes before getting dressed to allow the foam to set. We also recommend wearing something loose. Tight clothes increase the risk of rubbing off the self-tanner and getting stained. If you do notice the tan has rubbed off on your neckline or waistline, don’t fret. It’s washable!
Yes, and you can still burn! Sea Foam Glow does not protect from the sun’s harmful UV Rays. Please make sure to apply sun protection prior to any sun exposure. The whole point of Seafoam Glow natural sunless tanner is that you don’t have to risk sun damage to get tan!
Seafoam Glow is safe for all skin types. For those with sensitive skin, we got you. You won’t find any of the harmful chemicals that fill up other sunless tanners here. Nevertheless, we always advise doing a patch test on your skin before applying all over just to be safe.
Yes. All of our clean cosmetics, including the non toxic self tanning mousse are safe to use during pregnancy. Pregnant women may have increased skin sensitivity due to higher hormone levels. We advise doing a patch test before applying all over the body. Please consult a medical professional if you have any concerns.
Not at all! We made sure there was no funny tanner smell, ever. We did want it to smell like vacation though. Pina Colada to be exact. The fragrance is natural, too. No artificial fragrance and no irritating perfumes. Just tropical island goodness.
It should last at least a week. If you’re exfoliating, shaving, taking hot baths, or swimming for several hours, your tan will fade. Reapply as much or as little as you’d like to keep the tan going.
We advise allowing enough time for your tan to develop before taking a plunge. For best results, allow 4-12 hours before getting in the water. If you are happy with the color that has developed before 12 hours, then go for it. Heads up, salt water and chlorinated pools may cause your color to fade faster. Whether you’re poolside or seaside, we know how important it is to have a healthy tan so just be prepared to reapply your natural self-tanner again later.
Nope. Nice try, but Seafoam Glow is not a reason to skip a workout. As long as your tan has fully developed, you’re good to go. Sweating shouldn’t affect your tan. It will make you glisten like the gorgeous goddess that you are though.
Exfoliate, take a long bath, or shower with a scrub. The color will start to fade from your hands with regular hand washing. If you need to blend the color on legs, knees, ankles keep applying body oil or cream to soften the edges.
Moisture is key. Apply a body lotion or moisturizing cream daily. Hot water will dry out your skin so avoid hot tubs. If you’re going to soak in the tub, run the water a little cooler. Proper prep is also essential. See more tips & tricks to get your best tan here.
Sea Foam Glow is made with 72-hour moisture. It’s just like it sounds, locks in moisture for 3 days. That means no drying effect, no flaky skin, no peeling color. A tan that’s actually hydrating.
Nope, never. Seafoam Glow is the best healthy sunless tanner because it works to deepen your natural color rather than cover it up. The foam goes on clear and takes several hours to develop. Your tan will appear as a beautiful, deeper shade of you. It will gradually fade over time but will never turn on you.
As often as you’d like! Reapply once a week to keep your color consistent. If you’re swimming a lot or on vacation, feel free to apply your natural self-tanner daily!
This is up to you and depends on how dark you want your tan. It also can depend on your current situation. If you want to make sure your tan turns extra deep, feel free to lay it on thick or apply an extra layer or two. Keep in mind, the more you apply the longer it will take to dry. If you need to get out the door quickly or just want a touch of color, apply a thin layer. The most important thing is that the natural self tanning foam is spread evenly over the skin. You can always do another round later!
Not really. No accessories are required to get your glow on. As long as you wash your hands after applying the natural self-tanning foam, you’re good!
The shelf life of Seafoam Glow is 24 months. Your natural sunless tanner will last 6 months after opening.
Seafoam Glow does not contain any artificial colors or synthetic fragrance. We spent years working on the nontoxic tanner formula to create the sensational experience you get from using Seafoam Glow without any harmful chemicals. The beautiful color and pina colada scent come from using tropical botanical extracts and non toxic plant-based ingredients.
Yes, we encourage you to recycle the packaging after you run out. Simply peel off the label (we made sure it wouldn't be hard), rinse out the bottle, and toss it in the recycling bin. The bottle is also made out of post-consumer-recycled plastic so its a more sustainable choice.
Due to the nature of this nontoxic skin care formula, the color in the bottle may change over time. There may also be some variations in color from one batch to the other. Don’t worry, it makes no difference on your tan. The natural self tanning foam will always go on clear and give you the same level of color.
DHA is the component that turns your skin darker. It’s also to blame for the ‘fake tan smell’. The DHA found in other sunless tanners can be damaging to the skin. The DHA we use is not only natural, but it’s balanced by probiotics, 72-hour moisture, and our nourishing tropical botanical blend. By formulating our natural sunless tanner with healthy skin care ingredients, we’ve created a foam that defies the laws of DHA.
We made sure Seafoam Glow came with a built-in moisturizer. Plus, probiotics to preserve and protect skin’s natural barrier. No artificial dyes or synthetic fragrance. Just natural, skin-enhancing tropical goodness. All of the ingredients that go into our natural beauty product formulas are ranked 1 or 2 on the EWG scale. That means our collection of clean cosmetics are non toxic and safe.
